Dianne Necio Miss International Pageant 2011, People’s Choice Award

Filipina beauty queen and the Philippines’ bet, Dianne Necio acquired the People’s Choice Award in the recent online voting as part of the 2011 Miss International pageant in Chengdu, China.
From Legazpi City, Philippines, Necio amassed overall 354,237 votes that automatically made her included in the semi-finals of the prestigious beauty contest.
Next to Necio is the official representative of Macau with 318,276 votes and in the third spot is Miss China with a total of 186,395 votes.
A total of 67 candidates played part in the 2011 Miss International beauty pageant from different countries around the world.
Prior to this, Necio vowed to do her best in this pageant for her departed parents, whom she deemed her inspiration and strength to overcome every pressure she may be going through in this competition.
Last year, the Philippines’ bet Krista Kleiner failed to seize the crown for the country but was able to make it to the Top 15 candidates.
Meanwhile, the 19-year old Elizabeth Mosquera of Venezuela is currently holding the Miss International crown. Later on tonight, she will crown her successor, who will appear to be the most laudable among other beauties to receive the title.
The 51st edition of Miss International pageant will be held tonight at the Sichuan Opera Theatre, in Chengdu, China.
