Melinda Holohan is a Filipino toy designer who made headlines in Europe with the famous Circa Calendar toy which was being used by students to learn about the calendar. The toy that she design was suppose to be a learning aid to her son who find it difficult to understand the calendar.
With the award-winning design that was made by Melinda she was being recognized in Europe and the Circa toys were being distributed in the different parts of the U.K. There were interested parties also to make the toy available in the Philippines for the next few days.
Melinda was born and raised in Denmark and worked in an advertising agency while staying in New York but right now she is a full time mother to his son Thomas. The concept of the toy was to make it easier for children to understand the calendar concept in a circular pattern.
The Filipina inventor and toy designer had two children. Currently she was the president of her own company. She was a former project manager at an asset management firm before moving on to eleventyone Limited.
Circa toy calendar had been awarded as one of the Top 25 Gifts of the Ideal Home Show at Christmas. The toy is one of the most anticipated products for the coming Holiday season. The toy is a perfect gift for children.
